Different Churches

We planned to get our son baptized on his 3rd month and we have been looking for a church for his baptism. First, we checked the nearest church in our place which is Our Lady of Sacred Heart Parish located at Citihomes Subdivision, Molino 4, Bacoor, Cavite.

The Parish territory of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart starts from the University of Perpetual Help until Molino 3 and until San Miguel 2 Subdivision, Molino 4; including Summer Point Subdivision, Pasong Buaya 2 until Imus and Summer Hills, Molino 4. Excluding Camella Homes.

It was holiday and their office is closed so we looked for their schedule and contact no. Luckily, outside their parish was a bulletin informing about the requirements for Baptism, Wedding and their Mass Schedule.

After the holiday, we went back last Wednesday, the baptismal fee is 100 pesos which includes one pair of Godparent and a fee of 20 pesos for additional Godparent. We were also informed about the other Liturgical Services as follows:

   Sunday: 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm

   Monday: 6:30 am

   Tuesday-Friday: 6:30 pm

   Saturday: 6:30 am and 7:00 pm

Sacrament of Reconciliation: every Tuesday to Friday 6:00 pm

First Friday Holy Hour: 6:00 pm followed by Holy Mass at 7:00 pm

Regular Sunday Mass to 11 pastoral areas including SM Mall

Regular Celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism: every Sunday 10:30 am

House blessings, counseling, Pre-Cana seminar, and anointing of the sick: by appointment

Next was Sto. Niño de Molino Parish, located at Avenida Rizal, Brgy. Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.

They require birth certificate and marriage certificate of the parents and its photocopies. Since our address is not covered by the Parish they also require Permit from our designated Parish. The Baptismal fee is 175 pesos including 1 pair of Godparents, a fee of 20 pesos for additional Godparent. Baptism is every Sunday at 10:00 am.

   Monday: 6:00 am

   Tuesday-Friday: 6:30 pm

   Saturday: 6:30 am and 6:30 pm

Their Parish Office is open from Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 am - 11:30 am, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Since majority of our Ninongs and Ninangs (Godparents) will be coming from Manila, we decided to inquire at Notre Dame de Vie, the Church at Fernbrooks Gardens located along Portofino South, Daang Reyna, Las Piñas City which is 30mins. ride from Molino Cavite, the mode of transportation would be a yellow multi-cab from SM Molino taking the route along Daang Hari road. 

From Daang Hari road it would be nice if you have a vehicle to ride on. Because its quite a long walk going to the Church. During my visit I got lucky because I was offered a ride by the police who were on their way to patrol at the subdivision by that time.

I took a lot of picture from the outside and the interior design of the Church because of its unique architecture and beauty. 

The baptismal fee is worth 1,000 pesos including a pair of Godparents and a fee of 100 pesos for additional Godparent. I registered together with the permit from our Parish and my son's baptismal certificate and the date was all set. I did not have the time to inquire for their other services because there are a lot of couples who are booking their wedding but I got their contact number which is 475-4402 for further inquires in the future.
